The Christmas season is a time for giving, sharing, and reminding one another that no one should feel forgotten. In December, the Ember Program brought that spirit to the children of the community through a special Christmas gift-giving activity. Each child received a Christmas present, turning an ordinary gathering into a celebration filled with excitement, smiles, and the simple joy of receiving something chosen especially for them.
With Mary Joy Olmstead joining the celebration, the children were able to experience the warmth and happiness that comes from celebrating Christmas together. The children's excitement as they received their gifts reflected how meaningful even a simple present can be when it comes with thoughtfulness and care.
For Ember, the activity was about more than giving presents. It was about creating a Christmas memory that the children could look back on with happiness.
