September brought another opportunity for the Ember children to gather, learn, and spend time together. The children participated in a short learning session that encouraged them to stay curious, participate actively, and continue developing their skills in a welcoming environment. Even a brief activity can become meaningful when children are given the space and encouragement to learn together.
After the session, each child received a tote bag as a simple but practical gift. Mary Joy Olmstead joined the children during the activity and helped make the gathering another opportunity to combine learning with care and encouragement. The tote bags can also be useful for carrying school materials and other everyday essentials.
For Ember, every activity is an opportunity to remind children that their growth matters. By pairing educational activities with practical support, the program hopes to make each monthly gathering something the children can look forward to while continuing to encourage them along their educational journey.
