April brought another opportunity for the Ember Program children to learn, participate, and prepare for the school year ahead. During the monthly session, the children took part in a learning activity designed to encourage curiosity, participation, and confidence while developing important skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Alongside the activity, Ember distributed school supplies to help the children with their continued education. Mary Joy Olmstead joined the children during the session, sharing encouragement and helping create an environment where learning could be combined with support and enjoyment.
For Ember, providing educational materials is about more than giving children supplies. It is about reminding them that their education matters and that their community believes in their ability to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
